How will you manage my fleet?
Primarily, by maintaining and improving the continuous management of our network of service providers. When we take on a new client, we allocate chosen service providers to their location. We undertake a detailed review of the service provision required and establish the processes and procedures to offer the very highest levels of support and compliance. Once things are up-and-running, your Regional Network Manager will attend regular meetings with you to discuss financial information and review performance. We will always ensure we are delivering on our promise to provide you with a market-leading tyre management service.
Who does the work for you?
We have a network of over 2,200 providers and locations, many whom have worked with us for more than 15 years, and we are continually adding to our list of trusted partners to enable us to provide the best possible coverage. We also ensure that all of our service centres stay compliant with the latest regulations at all times.
How do you control your service providers?
As part of the process of being accepted into our network, our service providers must undertake an annual audit. Network Managers carry these examinations out themselves according to stringent criteria. In this manner, DTM can confirm that all the required levels of insurance and compliance are in place before we let a provider work on a customer’s vehicle or site. We further support this by regular visits and inspections to check tyre stock and safety policies. Any provider failing to meet these requirements will not qualify for any further work from DTM until the required criteria have been met.
What management information will I get sent?
We can produce management information reports of any configuration. It could be a high-level report showing simple monthly spend and purchases, or we can provide a more detailed description. We will work together with you to analyse what information is most valuable for your specific operation. We are delighted to come to your offices to offer a comprehensive insight into the strengths of the system.
Can I access the system via a web-based portal?
We pride ourselves on our transparency and actively encourage customers to access their information through our portal. Operators can use it to view and download job sheets, look at invoices and other financial information. You can also obtain a detailed data file of your tyre operations.
How will I know if your solution is suited to my particular operation?
We are very flexible and have several options that customers can choose. Our two and three-year contracts are the most popular. However, we are happy to discuss your requirements and find the best performing and most cost-effective solution. We will work to understand your fleet and suggest products or amendments that will help to control your expenditure. We know things change too, and when they do, we will co-operate closely to resolve the issues and mitigate the impact on your operation.
What else can you do?
We can support our customers in various ways. In the past few years, for example, we have attended many customer safety days and delivered tyre and wheel tool-box presentations to driver groups. We also undertake spot-check audits and acquisition audits. Our team provides presentations at corporate days and carries out employee tyre awareness training. If you need any assistance, we are here to help. We will deliver customer support at all times. Your operation is at the heart of our business.
Why should you join the DTM Nationwide Service Network?
Together we are stronger. DTM’s focus has resulted in a substantial existing and rapidly expanding base of satisfied fleet customers requiring high-quality service provision. We only welcome service network providers who maintain the highest standards, and who are fully compliant with all relevant legislation. When you join our nationwide network, it will act as a quality guarantee for customers, and we will put business your way continuously.
Is there any cost for registering with Direct Tyre Management?
Joining our network is FREE. There are no registration fees (or administration fees) payable to Direct Tyre for entering the network team. The main requirement is your commitment to contributing to our team effort in delivering service excellence to our customer base.
Is joining the Nation Wide Service Network profitable for me?
As you will be aware customer product and service pricing will vary from contract to contract. However, DTM guarantees the network service providers will have acceptable margins on service and product transactions. We are aware that to maintain and improve our company’s reputation for service excellence, it is imperative to provide the correct level of funding. All service providers can discuss pricing before contract commencement and will receive a payment within 60 days by BACS or cheque.
What administration functions will I use?
The TAMS management system is a web-based software solution that is effectively limitless in the number of vehicles and transactions it can administer. With all contract participants interacting, it enables the transparent delivery of all customer contract objectives and provides a robust platform for the service provider’s successful business development.
