FloGas

The Flogas tyre deal started on 1st October and is a 3 year deal. DTM will be looking after over 500 vehicles across 54 depot locations all over the UK.

Rebecca McKevitt account manager for this contract comments ‘Understanding the needs of Flogas has been so important in winning this deal. We have an excellent relationship with their Fleet Manager Steve Moir .

The previous suppliers service levels had not been as expected. We faced close competition from Vacu-lug and Bandvulc but managed to secure the business on a 3 year deal. 

When communicating the decision that DTM had won the business , Steve Moir also commented;

“The new contract will be managed by DTM (Direct Tyre Management). They are a company with a huge amount of experience in the industry and will use a network of independent tyre companies to provide the service to us. It is expected that this will offer closer working relationships and a greater understanding of our business requirements.”

“I am certain that this change will be a positive one for our fleet and if the engagement from DTM thus far, is indicative of how the contract will run – we are in safe hands”.
